Rees (above) Menna, Carwyn & Siwann ran half marathons.

Gareth, Kath & Ella Penny;
Giles & Dani Neville;
Stephanie & Beetle Pardoe;
Miranda, Andrew & Nix Perrott
Rode the Cape Argus Cycle Race 109km around the Cape Peninsula, raising £20,000 for the feeding programme.
Keith McCambridge while working for Wickland Westcott, rode his cycle through the Alps, raising money for water projects.
A group of supporters from Buckinghamshire walked 30km pushing a wheelbarrow and water container, collecting money for water projects, tanks, boreholes, pumps & toilets.
Their interest in Ingwavuma later led to the creation of Action for Ingwavuma – another UK charity offering financial support in this impoverished area

Employees of The Diamond Trading Company and PSA Training crossed a Burma Bridge from one building to another in London and also abseiled down! Funds raised went towards building a home for a Child Headed Household.
Zed Zlotnick, an Australian supporter, ran the Coast to Kosci Ultramarathon, a distance of 240km which he completed in just over 45 hours without sleep. His sponsorship & subsequent donation from his employer and friends totalled the equivalent of £5000! This money was used to buy uniform and clothing for orphans and vulnerable children.

In 2011 Theo Boschoff, a South African, ran, walked and cycled from Kosi Bay to Cape Town, a distance of 2300 km, in aid of Nomad Trust, which in turn donated the money to charities, including Zisize. It took him 9.5 weeks. The photo below shows him at the Waterfront in Cape Town at the end of his journey.

Theo stopped off at Ingwavuma, visited Zisize, and made this comment
“Zisize is not charity; it is a long-term investment in our country’s future”.

WAYS TO HELP
Monthly donations enable us to commit guaranteed amounts to Zisize in Ingwavuma, which helps them to know how many children e.g. can be included in weekend and holiday feeding schemes. They also attract Gift Aid if donors are tax payers. Please encourage others to donate this way. Contact us at niki@zisize.org.uk for bank details and Gift Aid Form.
Fund raisers in UK not only garner funds, but also spread awareness about Zisize. Please think of organising something in 2025.
Leaving money to Zisize in one’s will, knowing all of it will be spent directly on assisting vulnerable children and their families and making a huge difference in their lives. The UK charity has no overheads.
